Remifentail (Ultiva®) is a potent, short-acting, synthetic opioidanalgesic drug. It is used in combination with other opioids and analgesics toinduce or supplement general anesthesia. An internal standard suitable for remifentanyltesting of urine, blood, or hair samples or isotope dilution methods by GC/MSor LC/MS in applications such as pain prescription monitoring, clinicaltoxicology, urine drug testing, or forensic analysis.
