Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS)
PFAS are a group of man-made chemicals that have been in use since the 1940s. CIL has added new products to their PFAS range, including Perfluorodecanoic acid (PFDA) in its sodium salt form and 13C3-labeled HFPO-DA, a fluorinated ether compound. CIL also offers the native analyte PDS and isotope dilution PDS, targeting 25 PFAS in drinking water. Read more

CIL's new pesticide products include a multi-component mixture of chlorinated pesticides, mono-deca PCBs, tri-hepta BDEs, and PBB-153. They've also introduced a 13C2;15N-labeled standard of Icaridin, a synthetic insect repellent. Read more

In the pharmaceuticals and personal care products category, CIL has introduced a 10× concentrated native standard of Bisphenol AF (BPAF), a fluorinated analogue of the plasticizer bisphenol A (BPA). They've also added 2-Dimethylaminoethanol, used in skincare products and oral supplements. Read more

CIL has added 3'-Hydroxycotinine, a major metabolite of nicotine, to their tobacco compounds range. This compound serves as an important biomarker for active smokers and secondhand-smoke exposure. Read more
Priority Pollutants
Finally, in the priority pollutants category, CIL has introduced 3-Methyl-4-nitrophenol, used in the production of antimalarial agents and pesticides, and isopropyl methylphenol compounds, used as preservatives in cosmetics and oral care applications. Read more
