\nAKB48 (Item No. ISO00060) is a pentyl indazole with structural similarity to the synthetic cannabinoids (CBs) JWH 018 adamantyl carboxamide (Item No. 9001193) and STS-135 (Item No. 11564), which have been sold for recreational use.{22837} Generally, quinolones with adamantyl-carboxamide moieties display high affinity for the peripheral cannabinoid (CB2) receptor but greatly reduced affinity for the central cannabinoid (CB1) receptor.{20020} AKB48 N-(4-fluorobenzyl) analog is an AKB48 derivative in which the pentyl chain has been replaced with a 4-fluorobenzyl group in order to mimic a structural feature of the potent CB1 modulator AB-FUBINACA (Item No. 14039).
