Felbamate

Description

Felbamate is anantiepileptic drug used for the treatment of epilepsy, partial seizures inadults, and partial and generalized seizures associated with Lennox-Gastautsyndrome in children. The drug has a narrow therapeutic range and carries anincreased risk of fatal aplastic anemia and/or liver failure. Thiscertified solution standard is suitable as starting material for calibrators orcontrols for a variety of LC/MS or GC/MS applications such as forensic analysis, clinical toxicology and therapeutic drug monitoring.
